Terms & Conditions
1. Service and contracting party
Print Cheque is provided by Seoul Oasis, based in the United Arab Emirates. It is a cheque-text preparation tool, not a bank, payment processor, financial adviser or verification service. These terms govern the hosted web app. Separate offline disclosures apply to desktop downloads. Use is subject to these terms, the User Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy. The Privacy Policy explains data handling.
2. Eligibility and authority
Use the service only if you have legal capacity to agree, or with the authorisation and supervision required by applicable law. If acting for a business, you must have authority to use its cheque stock and information and to accept these terms for that business. Do not use another person’s payment information without permission.
3. What the service does
Print Cheque places entered text on genuine bank-issued cheque stock using configurable layouts. It does not issue funds, verify balances or signatures, approve transactions, guarantee cheque validity, or make a payment. Bank names identify formats; no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement is implied. Legacy bank names may appear in the catalogue.
4. Accuracy and printing
You remain responsible for payee identity, cheque number, amount in figures and words, date, crossing, authority, available funds and all other details. Check the preview and physical output. Common starter presets are not certified bank layouts. Verify paper dimensions and calibrate each printer and bank format. Browsers, paper feeds, scaling and drivers may change output. A saved attempt or user-marked Printed status is not proof of physical printing, delivery, bank acceptance or payment.
5. Accounts and security
Use your own authorised sign-in. Protect your device and account, sign out on shared devices, and notify the publisher if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not share credentials or circumvent access controls. You control what data you enter and whom you give exported files or printouts to.
6. Your content
You retain rights in your information. You grant only the permissions needed to host, process, display, back up and export it to provide the requested service. You represent that you may lawfully supply it. No permission is granted to sell cheque data or use it for personalised advertising.
Shared alignment catalogue
After you confirm a successful print, the app automatically shares the template geometry, typography, bank name, country, currency and account type for other users. Scans, payees, amounts, signatures and cheque contents are excluded. Shared versions lock after six confirmed prints or six distinct users; private copies remain editable. Physical printing cannot be independently verified by the app.
Optional cheque OCR
With your approval for each scan, the app sends that image to Zegi for OCR and alignment suggestions. The provider key stays on the server. Review all suggested positions and test on plain paper; OCR is not guaranteed accurate. No scan is attached to the shared catalogue.
7. Free access, promotions and external services
The current service is free. House promotions may link to Certfolio and Seoul Oasis. They are labelled and separate from cheque printing. Super Admin may grant or revoke ad-free access for a signed-in account; this is not a paid subscription in the current release. No advertising network is connected in this release and no revenue is promised. Third-party websites have their own terms and privacy practices. Any future material paid features or data practices require advance notice and applicable consent.
8. Availability and changes
The service may require maintenance, updates or suspension. Availability, uninterrupted operation and retention for a fixed period are not guaranteed. Export records you need for accounting or legal purposes. Material changes to these terms will be identified by an updated version and, where appropriate, a renewed acceptance request. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued mandatory rights.
9. Intellectual property
The software, original branding and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use the service for lawful personal or business cheque preparation. Do not misrepresent ownership, remove notices or redistribute third-party assets outside their licence. Open-source components remain governed by their own licences.
10. Warranties and limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of fitness for a particular printer, bank or purpose. To that same extent, the publisher excludes responsibility for losses resulting from unauthorised use, incorrect inputs, fraudulent conduct by users, printer errors, rejected cheques, duplicate issuance or misuse outside the intended function. No clause excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable mandatory consumer protections or liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or other non-excludable conduct. These provisions do not provide blanket immunity.
11. Responsibility for third-party claims
You are responsible for your unlawful acts and unauthorised use. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse reasonable losses finally determined to result from your unlawful use or material breach, excluding losses caused by the publisher’s own wrongful conduct. You retain the right to contest a claim; no settlement may impose obligations on you without appropriate consent.
12. Suspension and ending use
The publisher may restrict access for credible abuse, security risks, legal requirements or serious breach. Restrictions should be proportionate where practicable. You may stop using the service, export your displayed history and delete active cheque data through Account. Legal obligations, hosting backups and independently held copies may limit immediate complete erasure. Contact the publisher to raise an access or deletion concern.
13. Law, disputes and contact
Applicable mandatory law remains effective. These terms do not impose exclusive foreign jurisdiction, mandatory arbitration or a waiver of statutory remedies. Attempt to resolve service concerns with the publisher first without limiting lawful remedies. Contact: the private Support & contact form at https://printchq.app/support.
User Agreement
1. Permission to use
Subject to these documents, you receive a limited, non-exclusive permission to access the service and use the downloaded desktop application for lawful cheque preparation. Free use does not transfer ownership of the application or third-party materials.
2. Starting your workspace
The signed-in web workspace is available immediately. Drafts save automatically while you use it; saved templates, contacts and print attempts belong to your account. Use only information you are authorised to handle. Terms and privacy information remain available through Account and the site footer. Optional desktop cloud sync and support submissions have separate permission steps.
3. Financial and personal information
Enter only details needed for a cheque. Do not enter account passwords, card security codes, online-banking credentials or private signing keys. You may upload a cheque scan as a private alignment reference. Crop to its edges and cover signatures or account details you do not need. Reference scans are stored with your private bank templates and are never included in cheque printing. Do not upload cheques as advertising artwork or support examples.
4. Printing workflow
Review all fields, select the correct paper stock and verify physical output. The web version saves a Needs review record before opening the browser print dialog because cancellation and successful printing cannot be distinguished reliably. Correct the status after checking the result. Browser history and statuses are operational aids, not authoritative banking records.
5. Duplicate prevention and corrections
A cheque number may be used only once per bank within the active web history. This is a limited safeguard; it cannot detect cheques created elsewhere or records deleted by a user. Do not issue a duplicate instrument. If a print fails, reconcile the paper and history before taking further action.
6. Private workspace and administration
Cheques are associated with the signed-in account. The Super Admin interface provides account access controls, common layouts, promotions and service settings, without a route to browse other users’ cheque contents. This is an application access restriction, not end-to-end encryption or a guarantee that infrastructure operators cannot access stored data for lawful operational purposes.
7. Export and deletion
You may export up to the 1,000 most recent displayed records as JSON and delete all active cheque records, events, drafts and personal layouts through Account. Downloaded exports and printed paper are under your control. Deletion does not delete your ChatGPT account or automatically erase provider backups.
8. Offline desktop editions
The desktop app is a local workspace with optional account sync after explicit consent. The Mac edition is in preparation; its release status is shown on Downloads. Local databases and backups contain sensitive information and are not encrypted by the application. Printer drivers, system print queues, chosen PDF locations and backup storage may keep copies. Secure these independently.
9. Updates and compatibility
Future updates may change supported formats and platform requirements. Preserve necessary backups. The present Windows build is unsigned and provided for calibration and testing; no Microsoft Store approval or Microsoft endorsement is claimed.
10. No additional bank relationship
The agreement creates no banking, fiduciary, agency or payment-processing relationship. Nothing authorises conduct prohibited by law, your bank’s rules or the applicable account mandate.
Privacy Policy
1. Scope and controller
This policy describes the current Print Cheque web application operated by Seoul Oasis, based in the United Arab Emirates, and separately explains the desktop editions. Privacy contact: the private Support & contact form at https://printchq.app/support.
2. Information processed
Sign-in supplies an account identifier and email; the provider may also make an optional display name available. The app stores the identifier, email, account creation time and access status. It records a policy acceptance only when you explicitly provide one, such as during desktop cloud sync approval. When you use the signed-in workspace, it stores drafts and the contacts, cheque details, private reference scans, templates, print attempts and status events that you save. The app also records limited administration actions.
3. How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, maintain their private workspace, generate cheque text, save history, prevent obvious duplicate records, provide export/deletion and protect the service. Drafts save automatically while you use the signed-in web workspace. The website does not record automatic policy acceptance when creating a workspace. Desktop cloud sync requires a separate explicit permission step. You can stop using storage and delete active cheque data through Account. The publisher must assess applicable legal bases under relevant law; mandatory rights remain available.
4. Hosting, recipients and transfers
The website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare hosting/database infrastructure. Those providers may process identifiers, IP addresses, request metadata and stored app data to operate, secure and deliver the service under their own arrangements. Your chosen browser, operating system, printer and any PDF destination receive print content. Processing may occur outside the UAE; provider contractual arrangements and applicable transfer safeguards govern that processing.
5. Administrator access
Super Admin may see registered emails, registration dates and access status, and change shared layouts, promotions and service settings. The admin application does not return users’ cheque records. Stored data is not end-to-end encrypted: authorised hosting or database operators may have technical access for operation, security, legal requirements or recovery. The publisher must restrict infrastructure access to authorised personnel.
Account sign-in, sync and support
Google sign-in sends authentication information to Google. Email sign-in sends a single-use code through Resend. Essential session cookies are Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite; the server stores session tokens as hashes. Desktop tokens expire and can be revoked. Suppliers/customers may include names, companies, phone numbers, email addresses and notes. Support stores the name, optional company/phone, subject, category, messages and status that you submit. Super Admin can read and reply to those tickets; cheque records are excluded from the support inbox. Resend sends account codes and ticket update notifications without cheque amounts or payee details. Tickets stay available for follow-up; ask through Support for deletion or other privacy rights. Provider arrangements govern retention and international processing.
6. Advertising and cookies
This release serves house-promotion images from the Print Cheque site. It does not load an advertising network, tracking pixel or behavioural advertising SDK. It does not share payee names, amounts, cheque numbers or history with advertisers. Clicking a promotion opens the advertised site, which may process data under its own policy. Essential authentication cookies are managed by the sign-in/hosting platform. Any future optional tracking or ad network requires a revised disclosure and a consent mechanism where required before activation.
6a. Ad-free account status
Super Admin can mark a registered account ad-free. The site stores that flag, its update time and a limited administration log, then omits house promotions for that account. A connected desktop app checks the flag through its authenticated device session and stores the result in operating-system-protected local storage for up to 24 hours. Revocation applies when the app next connects or the cached grant expires. This status check does not upload cheque history, contacts or templates.
7. Retention
Active cheque data remains until you delete it or the service’s documented retention arrangements change. Account identifiers, access status and acceptance information may remain for account operation and security. The active deletion control removes cheque data immediately from application queries; provider backup and operational log retention is controlled by provider arrangements and is not represented as immediate erasure.
8. Security
The hosted service uses HTTPS and server-side ownership checks. Cloud-provider storage protection is not the same as end-to-end encryption. No system can guarantee perfect security. Consider these limitations when using financial data. Protect devices, exports and printer access; the app does not control recipient devices or printer memory.
9. Access, correction and deletion
Use History to inspect and export the displayed records, and correct print status. The app preserves the original cheque snapshot to avoid silently altering historical print details. Account allows deletion of all active cheque information and personal layouts. Other requests, including access beyond the display limit, correction of identity information, restriction or objection where available, should go to the publisher. Your statutory rights and regulator complaint options are not limited by this policy.
10. Children and minimisation
The service is intended for authorised adults and business users with legal capacity, not directed to children. Do not enter unnecessary personal information. The publisher should address accidental unauthorised or child-related submissions through its privacy contact and applicable law.
10a. Automatic cheque alignment
Adding a cheque image while connected requests online bank-name and field-position recognition through Zegi.ae over HTTPS, as disclosed in the upload area. No separate prompt appears for every upload. Cover unnecessary signatures and account details. Offline desktop image cropping, measured dimensions, manual alignment, template saving and printing remain available without recognition.
11. Desktop privacy
The desktop editions store drafts, payees, histories and layouts locally in the current user profile (AppData on Windows, Library/Application Support on macOS), plus a local policy-acceptance file. The database and exported backups are not application-encrypted. Cloud sync is optional and starts automatically after you sign in and approve the desktop connection in your browser. It transfers cheque history, supplier/customer contacts, templates and reference scans to your own account; Settings lets you pause or resume it. It runs while the app is open and stops when paused or signed out. Printer calibration remains device-specific. Saved device tokens use Windows DPAPI or macOS Keychain-backed encryption through Electron safeStorage; financial data and backups are not application-encrypted. Windows uninstalling deletes the device token while retaining records and backups. On Mac, moving the app to Trash retains its data folder and saved token; sign out before removing the application. No advertising scripts are included. Installation downloads involve the website and hosting providers. Operating systems and selected printers or export destinations may retain copies. Uninstalling may leave user data; remove local data/backups separately when no longer needed.
12. Changes and contact
The policy version is 2026-10-03-web-8. Material changes to purposes, recipients or optional tracking must be disclosed before they take effect and consent renewed where required. Send privacy requests to the private Support & contact form at https://printchq.app/support.
Acceptable Use Policy
1. Permitted use
Prepare accurate text for genuine cheques that you are authorised to issue. Follow applicable law, bank requirements, account mandates and this agreement.
2. Fraud and misuse prohibited
Do not forge, counterfeit, steal, deceptively alter or knowingly duplicate cheques; impersonate payees or account holders; fabricate authority or funds; conceal financial crime; or use the service to facilitate money laundering, scams, sanctions evasion or other unlawful conduct.
3. Security and privacy
Do not access another user’s workspace, bypass account restrictions, scrape personal data, upload malicious content, exploit vulnerabilities, or send confidential cheque details to advertising or analytics systems. Do not use another person’s data without authority.
4. Advertising
House promotions must remain clearly labelled and separated from cheque controls. Do not create deceptive download buttons, solicit ad clicks to support the app, or inject arbitrary advertising scripts. Paid networks must follow their own publisher rules and privacy requirements; no ad network is enabled in this release.
5. Fair operation
Do not overload the service, automate abusive requests, evade suspension, or use the service to distribute spam or illegal content. Legitimate accessibility tools and ordinary authorised use are permitted.
6. Enforcement
Access may be restricted for misuse, security or legal reasons. Restrictions do not imply the publisher routinely reads cheque content or guarantees detection of unlawful activity. The app does not replace banks’ fraud controls. Preserve relevant evidence lawfully and contact the publisher to report suspected abuse.
7. Rights preserved
Enforcement and exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing removes mandatory consumer or data-protection rights, authorises illegal conduct, or guarantees the publisher immunity from responsibility for its own conduct.
