Is Print Cheque free to use?

Core cheque writing, template alignment and printing are free to use. You do not need a subscription or account to print. Clearly labelled advertising supports the app. Sign in when you want private cheque history, contacts and account sync.

Which banks, countries and cheque sizes can I use?

Create a template for your own bank-issued cheque, choose its country and currency, and align the text against a scan. Available shared templates can give you a starting copy by country, bank and account type. Measure your own cheque and check a plain-paper print; a catalogue entry is not bank certification. The editable starting size is 205 × 100 mm.

Can the app automatically align a cheque scan?

After you upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP, the app looks for clear paper edges locally. When connected, text recognition can suggest the bank name and field positions. Review the crop and alignment before saving. Pixel dimensions cannot establish the physical cheque size, so enter its measured width and height in millimetres.

How do I correct the cheque crop?

In Layouts, use Crop scan, move the four edges to the paper boundary and select Apply crop. Numeric trim controls are available if you prefer not to drag. Restore original scan lets you start again. Manual crop and field alignment remain available in the Windows app without internet.

Does the uploaded cheque image print?

No. The scan is an alignment reference. Printing includes only your entered text and selected crossing. It does not reproduce the reference image, bank artwork or signature.

Can I leave the payee, date or amount blank?

Yes. Uncheck Print beside the payee, date or amount on Write cheque. An unchecked field is optional and is omitted from the print. All three are checked initially. The amount option controls both figures and wording.

Can I rotate the crossing or print crossing lines only?

Yes. No Crossing is the default when writing a cheque. Choose a crossing option, then use its rotation handle or exact angle in Layouts to adjust it. Cross Only adds //; Lines only draws two parallel crossing lines. Keep the printed crossing inside the cheque.

Why does the printed cheque not match the screen?

Printer feeds, margins and scaling vary. Confirm the saved cheque measurements and field positions, then print a plain-paper test at 100% actual size. Default Cheque Paper uses the standard printer paper setting while retaining the actual cheque size; the default placement is top-centre, portrait feed and a 90° left cheque rotation. Disable browser headers, footers and added margins.

How should I feed a cheque into the printer?

Follow the animation in the print dialog and your printer’s tray markings. For portrait feed, point the signature side towards the printer so it enters first. Landscape uses a horizontal cheque with the signature area at the bottom. The printer’s face-up or face-down marking determines which face is visible. Test with plain paper first.

Will my template be available next time?

Choose Save template & use after alignment. Guest web templates stay on that browser; signed-in templates save to your account. The Windows app keeps local layouts for offline printing. A recoverable alignment draft helps if you switch sections before saving, but it does not replace saving the finished template. Check alignment again on another printer.

Are my cheque details or scans shared with other users?

Cheque records, contacts and reference scans are private to your account. A confirmed correct print can make the bank template name and alignment settings available as a shared template. It excludes your scan, payee, amount, signature and account details. Hosting operators may have technical access; this is not end-to-end encryption.

How do I export a cheque report to Excel or PDF?

Sign in and enable Save history when writing cheques. In History, filter by payee, payee type, bank, currency, status and date range. Cheque date is the default; saved or print-attempt date is also available. Export Excel or A4 PDF report includes all matching rows, with separate totals for each currency.

Does the Windows cheque writer work offline?

Yes. You can create and adjust layouts, enter cheque text, print, produce cheque PDF output and make local backups without internet or an account. Saving cheque history and using cloud sync require sign-in. After account approval in your browser, sync is automatic by default and can be paused in Settings. Online text recognition is optional for alignment.

Is the Mac app available?

The shared Mac interface is prepared, but a Mac installer is not yet available. Native Mac testing, signing and notarization are still required. The Downloads page shows current availability. You can use the web app from a supported browser on your Mac.

Does a saved print attempt prove that a cheque printed or was paid?

No. If Save history is enabled, the app records an attempt when you open printing. Check the paper and correct its status in History. A Printed status is your confirmation and is not proof of payment.

How do I get support?

Open Support and sign in to create a private ticket and follow replies. For setup instructions, start with the cheque alignment guide. Do not include cheque scans, signatures or account credentials in a support message.
